Develop Healthy Communication & A Deeper Connection
Therapy for Men and Their Relationship
Therapy for Men and Their Relationship is not a sign of weakness
You want to feel important, valued, respected, but most importantly you just want to be heard.
It sucks feeling like you can’t do anything right.
You’re tired of always arguing, constantly feeling like your partner is nagging.
Last night’s argument keeps replaying in your head.

You feel as though you barely got a wink of sleep, and now that dreaded alarm clock won’t stop mocking you.
You try to choke down a cup of hot coffee before jumping in the shower heading off to work.
If you’re lucky you’ll get maybe 5 minutes of peace in the car, recharge a bit before work, but then traffic is backed up and you already know how this day will end…
You bust your butt at work, trying to prove yourself to others, always striving for that next promotion.

Only to be left feeling like your hard work goes unnoticed, and that you have been taken advantage of yet again.
However, you tell yourself “it’s a job and someone has to keep working to pay the bills.”
Better is always around the next corner. If you can just get that next promotion or raise, that will fix everything.
However, the last promotion didn’t fix anything.
Sure you might have had a little more breathing room between bills, but the process just starts all over again.
You’re stuck on an infinite loop waiting for better, but… Better Never Comes.
It’s chaos when you walk in the door.
If only you knew how to help or even where to begin.

Instead, you begin barking orders, trying to get the kids to do what mom has been asking them to do all day.
All your efforts to help and be helpful around the house feel unnoticed, or worse you’re flat out told “it’s not helpful.”
Home is a reminder of the struggles at work. Work is a reminder of the struggles at home.
There never seems to be a break, a moment to recharge or unwind.
Home doesn’t feel like the sanctuary you thought it would.

You crave attention from your partner.
Oh, how you wish that you had someone to talk to.
You long to feel pursued and the primary focus of your partner’s attention again.
Once, conversations lasted into the late hours of the night, dates created anticipation and excitement.
Back then the relationship wasn’t just about physical intimacy, it was so much more.
The financial weight of the house falls on your shoulders.
You know your spouse is the one responsible for feeding the kids, cooking meals, and dealing with all responsibilities at home.
Frankly, she thinks no one notices just how much she does.
But you do, and when you try to tell or show her it goes unnoticed.

She does what has to be done for the family, but longs for your help.
Her mind is like an internet browser with infinite tabs open all at once: tabs for the kids, house, work, school, etc.
The browser doesn’t feel like it can handle another open tab, and yet you don’t understand why she can’t just close the tabs.
Therapy for Men & Their Relationship can help with the walls
You’re aware of the walls that have been built up over time.
Now, those walls are preventing the connection you desire.

Every conversation becomes the place to drudge up past hurts.
This continues until one of you becomes tired of the endless circles.
At that point, you both decide to just stop talking about it.
The disagreement isn’t resolved and feels like you have just swept it under the rug.
Both of you Desperately need connection.
Unfortunately, you’ve been hurt, rejected, ignored so many times before, you wonder if there is anyway things can be different.
If things don’t begin to change soon you’re afraid that the relationship is destined to fail.
Most of the books you’ve turned to were just ok, but didn’t really seem to create the lasting change you were looking for.

Social Media bombards you with false standards of what a good relationship looks like.
The struggle is real and You long for more…
